Amalu LIVE at 21Soho Below, London | An acoustic 'listening' music venue operated by TALENTBANQ
Amalu is an indie/folk artist from London, known for using tender lyricism to weave together raw and heartfelt songs of personal vulnerability and emotional honesty.
She has recently released her Debut Album ‘Tales from Limbo’ with the help of Canadian Producer ‘Matthew Manifould’ (known for work with Artist Leith Ross). This album was a labour of love, born from a bedroom in the 2020 lockdowns. It tells a part real, part fantasy story of isolation and self-discovery, with reviews describing it as having the “introspection of Radiohead's *Kid A* era, the narrative ambition of Sufjan Stevens at his most conceptual, and perhaps a whisper of the uncanny atmospherics that made Portishead's *Third* such compelling listening.”
