Recovering Good Girl is about embracing who you are, finding freedom & adventure in life, and of course…kicking the patriarchy’s ass! Expect a boot stomping, joyous occasion and feel free to wear your best Western, Cowboy & Cowgirl attire, because this ladies and gentlemen, is a honky tonk.
Savannah Gardner's Recovering Good Girl Album Launch
An old soul with an exciting new sound, Californian Cowgirl Savannah Gardner is rewriting the outlaw country genre here in the UK. Her freewheeling, sometimes gritty, sometimes hauntingly beautiful songs speak to a new generation determined to stand up and be their authentic selves.
Come celebrate the launch of Savannah’s Debut album Recovering Good Girl produced by Dale Davis, the legendary former musical director & bass player for Amy Winehouse. Savannah will be joined by her amazing band, Dale Davis on bass, 2x Americana Instrumentalist of the Year Winner Holly Carter on pedal steel & guitar, Assistant Producer of Recovering Good Girl Lea McMahon on BV’s & piano, drumming aficionado Greg Sheffield, & rock goddess Amy Vix on the electric guitar. We will also be welcoming guest instrumentalists throughout the night.
Savannah's old school/new vibe live performances are selling out London’s hottest spots, some solo and others with her band. She enjoys residencies at Crazy Coqs Cabaret Theatre, The Sir Richard Steele, The Spiritual Bar, The Crypt and The Dukes of Highgate and is a 2x featured artist on Bob Harris's Under the Apple Tree Live Session. Last year, Savannah played upwards of 150 gigs around the UK and has featured at top festivals including Glastonbury, The Long Road Fest, C2C London, Black Deer Festival, Secret Garden Party, Maverick & more.
See you on September 26th at The Camden Club!
With support from Tommy Hare: the Honky Tonk Soul Man
Steeped in the musical traditions of the American South, and battle hardened by decades of experience as a singer and instrumentalist playing from the pool halls of Alabama to The Royal Albert Hall, Tommy Hare is the real McCoy. A Londoner by birth and a Texan by marriage, Tommy calls upon the sounds of British Blue Eyed Soul and Outlaw Country by way of everything in between to create his entirely unique brand of Honky Tonk Soul. Think Joe Cocker crossed with Waylon Jennings or Rod Stewart crossed with Willie Nelson and you’re getting there. Tommy Hare will be joined onstage by Savannah Gardner's Ladies Night House Band!
