Jackson Wooten is a Nashville-born songwriter and a rising talent in London’s indie folk scene. Renowned for his compelling storytelling and poetic lyricism, Jackson has earned acclaim from music critics, curators, and award organizations alike. His debut album, A New Child, was nominated for Best Self-Released Record by the American Association of Independent Music in 2022, marking a significant milestone in his career.

After the February release of his second album, Reprieve, Jackson is taking the stage at London’s famous Green Note to give a special performance of the new songs.

Born and raised in the east of Canada, Sam has called London his home for the better part of a decade. Sam’s main occupation in music is double bass and in this he plays with a number of London and south England outfits: Dead Pages, Rob Quo, Phil Maguire , Minna and Samuel Austin as well as being a founding member of Gatekeepers.

Sam is a mainstay session musician at The Barn Studio (Gus White) in Wiltshire having been on 15 records over the past few years
Having released his 2nd EP “After The Night” in November, 2023 Sam is also in the singer-songwriter world bringing soaring vocals, intricate arrangements and thought provoking vocals to venues around London and south of England.
   

Doors open 7pm. Music starts 8.30pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
