CHARLOTTE CLARKE Live at The Libra
Charlotte Clarke Live at The Libra, Camden | An acoustic 'listening' music venue operated by TALENTBANQ.
Launching debut pop singles and an EP called ‘Growing Pains’ throughout 2024, Clarke was also writing and recording her debut Album ‘Take It from Me’.
Clarke’s fandom ‘theCHARmers’ were quick to gather around the artist in the early weeks of release in 2024, creating fan edits, fan pages and some going as far as getting the artist showcased on the New York Times Square billboards. Charlotte describes her latest project “Take It from Me” as a massive leap in her artist development, that be her songwriting skills, her artistic sound, and her voice. With a much more authentic approach in her sound and lyrics, Clarke describes this as her “best work to date”.
Stripping back 9 months of blood, sweat, tears and life lessons into an intimate acoustic set in Camden to perform and break down the process of creating her debut album.
Expect a night of raw lyricism infused with pop melodies dabbling into country, a walk-through of life lessons and a journey of unprocessed emotions that gets exercised as Clarke makes her way through the album.
Opening the show are Pop artist Emily Mayne and Country Pop artist Ingrid.
Emily Mayne
Smokey, compelling vocal ability and brutally-honest, vulnerable songwriting makes London based singer/songwriter Emily Mayne one to watch in the UK new music scene. An upfront pop artist with subtle nods to R&B, her musical versatility stands out with dark-truths and sky scraping runs. Inspired by the likes of Adele, Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande, Emily began writing music at age 11, having taken up the piano three years prior. This time, she’s stripping it back. Expect to get to know Emily on the most intimate level, as she performs all the things she doesn’t say. Just her and her piano, exactly how it all started.
Ingrid
Ingrid is a 22-year-old country-pop artist from Helsinki, currently based in London. Her music is all about heartfelt storytelling, with lyrics that feel honest, emotional, and easy to connect with. Blending warm, soulful vocals with a mix of acoustic country vibes and modern pop, she’s carving out a sound that feels both fresh and familiar. This is exactly what you can expect from her on April 22nd—a set filled with raw emotion, rich storytelling, and a voice that pulls you in from the very first note. Ingrid is set for a promising future, establishing herself as an authentic, Nordic voice in modern country-pop.
