TILEYARD TAKEOVER Live at The Libra, Camden | An acoustic 'listening' music venue operated by TALENTBANQ

This year’s Tileyard Takeover features nine talented songwriters graduating with their Master’s in Commercial Songwriting and Production at Confetti London. In conjunction with Tileyard Education, these students have spent the year honing their craft and developing a portfolio of original songs for release under their artist projects.

Spanning a wide range of genres from Indie Rock to Vallenato, each songwriter combines their unique sound with the songwriting expertise cultivated at Confetti. For some, this will be their debut performance on the London scene, so we are pleased to present Carolina y su Guitarra, Francesca & The Apostrophe, Kenide, Ruby Lightwood, Lexx, Dominic Ellis, Niamh Donnelly, Daisy Ford, and NAIKO.

Join us at the Libra Camden on June 17th for a night of good songs and good company!

Lexx is a 22-year-old songwriter/artist from Edinburgh, Scotland. With inspirations like Brandy and Troye Sivan, his commercial R&B/Pop blend aims to grab your attention with every riff!

NAIKO

Get ready to go on a journey. NAIKO brings raw, soulful storytelling to life with a full-band sound that’s as expansive as it is intimate. Blending deep lyricism with powerful, immersive soundscapes, this is music that doesn’t just entertain - it moves, transforms, and stays with you long after the last note.

Kenide

Born in the alternative, festival-soaked hills of Glastonbury, Kenide was destined to make music that’s anything but ordinary. After years of releasing tunes under a painfully forgettable name (let’s just pretend that era never happened), he finally embraced his true rock spirit— fast riffs, chugging chords, and just the right amount of chaos.

Carolina y su Guitarra

Carolina y su Guitarra is a Mexican-Colombian songwriter who loves lyrics, dance, and mixing sounds. She kicked off her musical journey in 2023 with Tornasol, followed by Mal de Amor, Gris Ansiedad, and Quiero. Now based in London, she’s exploring her musical style in what she calls Indie Latin Pop. For this event, she’s bringing a vallenato!

Francesca & The Apostrophe

Her music blends the soul-baring honesty of singer-songwriter pop with heartfelt lyrics, influenced by the storytelling of artists like Francesco De Gregori, Edoardo Bennato, and Adele. Currently pursuing an MA in Commercial Songwriting and Production, Francesca is on a journey to refine her craft and bring her unique voice to the forefront of the music industry.
