JOSH ROBINSON

Josh Robinson has one of those voices that transport you to an unearthly place. His heartachingly unforgettable voice explores vital universal human themes, notably mental health.

Hailing from Hertfordshire, Josh began his journey at just 14, busking on the streets to find his voice and hone his craft. In 2017, he headed to the coastal city of Brighton, where every busking performance won him another devoted fan. He soon discovered that people wanted to hear more than just his covers. Alongside his beautiful interpretations of other artists’ songs, he began performing his own material, turning more heads and securing sold-out shows at venues like the Camden Chapel. With a now loyal and engaged following, he relocated to London in 2023 and continues to captivate audiences at iconic landmarks and venues across the city, including the London Eye, St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Bedford, and The Dublin Castle.

With three EPs under his belt, he has earned significant attention, including Track of the Week on BBC Introducing, supported by DJ Melita Dennett, and a memorable performance on the BBC Live Lounge with Stephen Brown


ESSENCE MARTINS 

Essence Martins is a British-Nigerian artist who writes songs that blend the genres of indie-folk, pop and soul. She has a soft ethereal voice and loves to mix organic sounds alongside rich harmonies to create her compositions. Her simple yet evocative songs cover topics ranging from family, friendships and love, to spirituality and philosophical ideologies. She loves to write both honest and fictional stories that express complex emotions or that feel like a warm hug.

Influences include: AURORA, Olivia Dean, Phoebe Bridgers, Leith Ross, MARO, Madison Cunningham, Lizzy McAlpine

ALTHEA GRACE

Althea Grace captivates audiences with the rawness of her lyrics, the soul in her guitar playing and the uniqueness of her voice. 

Althea launched her career as a young child in Chicago and spent the last 5 years in Los Angeles. Althea draws on her blues and rock roots while finding her place in modern pop music—often noting, “Like if The Faces or The Beatles were called pop!” 

She’s toured with artists like Colin Hay (Men at Work), Toad the Wet Sprocket, Doyle Bramhall II, Los Lobos, and LeAnn Womack. Her songwriting and guitar work have featured on various high-profile projects, including Los Lobos’ cover of The Shins’ “The Fear,” and Doyle Bramhall II’s “Everything You Need” featuring Eric Clapton.

Daytrotter/Paste magazine praised her for a songwriting maturity “scarce in even the legacy songwriters still active today.”

THE VENUE

The Libra Theatre Cafe is a beautiful place to gather that offers light bites, cocktails and beers.

Please note: the performance space is located in the underground theatre. It is accessible via stairs only. Unfortunately, there is no elevator or wheelchair access available.
