TALENTBANQ Presents Robert J. Hunter LIVE at the legendary Green Note, Camden

Robert J. Hunter

Alderney-born Robert J. Hunter is taking the blues and Americana scene by storm. Armed with a gruff, powerful voice and the wild thud of an overdriven, foot-stomping guitar, he delivers a raw and soulful sound that is unmistakably his own. His evocative songwriting takes listeners on emotional, deeply personal journeys, echoing the spirit of artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Free, Jackson Browne, Little Feat, Rory Gallagher, The Band, The Black Crowes, The Eagles and Tom Petty.

Relentless touring across the UK and Europe has turned the band into a road-worn, well-oiled machine—super-tight, fiercely dynamic and impossible to ignore. Their genre-bending blend of blues, rock ’n’ roll and Americana continues to win new fans and captivate audiences with every show.

With a new album to look forward to in 2026, Hunter’s previous releases—Stir All Night, Hurricane, Suitcase Blues and Good People—have earned worldwide acclaim. The band has repeatedly hit No. 1 on the Apple Music Blues Chart and secured national radio play on BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing and Planet Rock.

With grit, heart and undeniable authenticity, Robert J. Hunter stands as one of the most compelling voices in contemporary blues and Americana.

“An incredibly exciting act on the blues scene, you’re going to really love them.” - Whispering Bob Harris, BBC Radio 2

“These strident blues rockers sound like they’ve come off a year-long tour and gone into the studio to record this album without even going home to change their socks.” - Hugh Fielder, Classic Rock Magazine

“Incredible strength in the diversity of his songwriting coupled with sheer hard work...” - Blues in Britain Magazine

With support from Eddy Smith.

Captivating audiences with his unique, husky voice and tasteful piano accompaniment, Eddy Smith has been making his mark on the UK’s growing Americana scene. Widely recognised as one of the major male vocalists on the Country Soul and Blues circuit, his infectious melodies and soulful song-writing has drawn comparisons to the likes of Joe Cocker, JJ Grey and Marcus King to name a few.

Deemed festival favourites since appearing on some of the UK's most prestigious stages, including The Isle of Wight Festival, Black Deer, The Long Road, Americana UK Festival, Cambridge Folk, The British Country Music Festival and more, along with prestigious support slots such as opening for George Thorogood & The Destroyers at Birmingham Symphony Hall, Eddy Smith and his band 'The 507' have gained recognition as 'ones to watch' on the UK Roots scene.

“The finest meshes of soulful Blues and melodic Pop you will hear this year” - The Blues Mag
