Lisa Canny
Award-winning harpist and banjo player from Ireland

Hailing from Co. Mayo on the West Coast of Ireland, Lisa Canny grew up immersed in the traditional Irish music scene. 7-time All-Ireland champion on harp and banjo, Lisa has toured the U.S., Canada, Russia, France, Germany, Italy, UK and Ireland extensively as lead singer and music with groups Celtic Crossroads and The Young Irelanders, playing to live crowds of over 50k and appearing on PBS specials to millions. Lisa holds a BA in Irish Music and Dance and a MA in Ethnomusicology.

As she began to write her own material Lisa found that she was inspired as much by pop and hip-hop music as she was the Irish traditional and folk music she was brought up on. Combining these elements, Lisa’s original music is truly unique. Her performances are high-energy, hard-hitting and highly entertaining.

Eddy Smith & The 507
An award-winning London based Country Soul & blues band

Best of British: Critic's Choice Award winners, Eddy Smith & The 507 kicked off 2019 with the release of their debut single, 'Lost On You' ahead of their second US tour, demonstrating their British Soul from Denver CO to Austin TX where they played during SXSW, the cities' biggest music festival.

The London-based band, who's lead singer has been compared to the likes of Joe Cocker, Van Morrison and Don Henley, have released their debut album, A Little Too Late, as a two-part EP. The band's genre is a soulful blend of Americana styles, including Blues, Soul, Rock and Pop.

The 5-piece played their biggest show to date in June 2018, supporting UK Soul Band, The Milk at a sold-out Islington Assembly Hall. Festival appearances include the Hard Rock stage at the Isle of Wight, a main-stage appearance at The Cambridge Club Festival and a three-stage performance at this year's Cornbury Festival. Last time at 229 they Sold Out venue 2 - so now its time to take to the BIG stage !

Morganway
Multi-layered vocal harmonies, driven guitar riffs and distinctive fiddle flourishes, bound by raw, honest songwriting.

Morganway are a six-piece from East Anglia founded by twin brothers Callum (vocals, guitar, bass) and Kieran Morgan (lead guitar, backing vocals). Throughout their early years the boys played in various bands but struggled to find a box to fit into. Too rock for folk, too pop for indie, too indie for country, or so it seemed. Choosing to follow their instincts rather than convention, they became Morganway and suddenly people started listening.

Joined by SJ Mortimer (vocals), Nicole Terry (fiddle), Matt Brocklehurst (keys) and Ed Bullinger (drums), the band has developed a sound built on a love for multi-layered vocal harmonies, driven guitar riffs and distinctive fiddle flourishes, bound by raw, honest songwriting. They've built this into a live show that in one moment is classic rock and the next mystical folk, catching the attention of Whispering Bob Harris and many others in the rising British Americana scene. Their collective obsession with ‘70s West Coast rock is also met with a love of Brit Rock, folk and modern Americana.
